First Aid in Schools

Would your child know what to do if they cut themselves and were bleeding?

Does your child know the number to ring to save a life in an emergency?

St John Ambulance believes in empowering our children and youth to be capable in first aid situations. The St John ACT First Aid in Schools (FAiS) Program has been going since 2012 in the ACT.

First Aid in Schools Program is an initiative aimed at training ACT school children in basic first aid skills. Over 1 million primary school children have been trained in basic first aid across the Nation since 2013.

This year we are on target to train 10,000 year K-6 Primary School students in basic first aid. The program is free to the students and schools, with St John Ambulance ACT covering all costs.
