Our modified face-to-face training is up and running!

As health care professionals, the safety of our students, staff and our community is always the first priority. We’re delighted to have recommenced our regular in-house training to meet this ongoing need, and have implemented additional measures to keep everyone safe during our face-to-face training.

Along with reduced student numbers for each class, to ensure social distancing and increased hygiene can be maintained, we’ve also implemented the following measures.

PRIOR TO TRAINING
Every student completes a COVID-19 screening form.

UPON ENTERING THE BUILDING
Every student signs in and uses hand sanitiser.

THROUGHOUT THE DAY
Social distancing of at least 2 metres is maintained with floor markings in place, antiseptic wipes are available to students within their designated training space, and also within common areas.

DURING TRAINING
Students are provided with their own equipment to use for the training (ie. no sharing), and no rescue breaths are conducted on the manikins.

AFTER TRAINING
All areas and equipment continue to be thoroughly sanitised.
