Isolation adventures with children

Our volunteers miss being out in the community, but as health professionals who are passionate about the wellbeing and safety of others, they understand the importance of staying at home right now.

One of our amazing volunteers Kim, who is also Mum of an 18 month old, knows how little ones can get themselves into trouble even at home. Kim likes to be prepared with a few simple items to treat any minor cuts or scrapes. A few items to have on hand include:

  • Gauze, swabs, bandages and bandaids
  • Tweezers
  • Itch relief cream
  • Nappy wipes
  • Antiseptic wipes
  • Saline for eye and wound irrigation
  • Gloves
  • Thermometer
  • Cold packs

We all hope you and your families are safe and well at this time, and that you enjoy some extra hugs and quality time with them during lockdown.

If you’d like to enquire about our Tiny Tots Safety Kit or any other first aid supplies or equipment, please email sales@stjohnact.com.au and our team would be happy to chat and answer any questions.
