Smoke haze air quality warning

With smoke lingering across the ACT, air quality is being impacted. Most people won’t experience any health impact, but those who are more sensitive to smoke, particularly those with heart or lung conditions including asthma, should take precautions. This includes taking medication as prescribed by their doctor, limiting time spent outdoors and avoiding vigorous exercise. Anyone with concerns about their health should seek medical advice from their health practitioner, and seek urgent medical assistance if experiencing wheezing, chest tightness or difficulty breathing. In the event of a medical emergency call triple zero (000). You can monitor ACT air quality levels by downloading the AirRater app.
